Soothe, nourish, and protect your skin with herb-infused Tallow Balm. Tallow absorbs quickly without a greasy feel, and our tallow balms are great for sensitive skin, rash-like flare ups, kids, or outdoorsy folks who want to protect their skin from the elements.

People say these balms are magic! Tallow is rendered animal fat, which nourishes and reinforces the skin’s lipid-based protective layer. And when the fat has been infused with herbs, our skin also absorbs beneficial constituents from plants. 

All the tallow in our tallow balms comes from our animals on the farm and is rendered by yours truly. The herbs are organically grown or respectfully wildcrafted, then steeped in tallow using a week-long infusion process – no essential oils here. 

Comes in a 2.5 oz. reusable glass jar.

Available in three herb-infused blends:

Chamomile Rose: In this blend, soothing and rejuvenating chamomile, rose, and calendula are slowly infused into organic tallow to promote healthy, nourished, and radiant skin.

Balsam Frankincense: Astringent and antimicrobial, this blend features balsam fir, frankincense, nettle, and calendula slowly infused into grass-fed tallow to tone the skin while supporting its innate healing process.

Lavender Pine: Calming, antibacterial lavender meets toning white pine, cell growth promoting Comfrey, and soothing calendula, all slowly infused into grass-fed tallow for improved skin tone and texture. 

For maximum hydration, spritz with hydrosol before sealing in moisture with Tallow Balm.

Handcrafted in Vermont, Loomis Hill Botanics offers whole herb, slow-infused skincare, and botanical extracts. All herbs are sustainably wild harvested, grown on a small scale, or purchased from local and/or organic farmers because high-quality herbs + simple formulas + conscious blending = earth magic.
